PT Cruiser Alliance - Cyber Car Show Rules and Info

1) Participants

You must be a registered PT Cruiser Alliance member to enter your car in the show. Not registered yet? You can do so here: Register 

You can enter (submit photos) at any point, including during a current running show. Your uploaded images should not be concidered a permanent photo gallery, as all photos may be dropped from the venue for a special event requiring a different set of photos. A permanent gallery is available in the "Gallery" section of this website.

2) Photos 

Participants may publish a maximum of five images at one time. A total of ten can be uploaded to allow for different events that may be running. There is a 512Kb size limit and please make sure the file is named without underscores or special charaters. Please also do not use apostrophies or special charaters in your titles.

Only one image per catergory (stacking multiple images in one catergory alters the ratings). If multiple images are found in one catergory or more than five published at one time;  your highest rated images will be removed by the administration. *

Photos can be added or deleted at any time by the owner. Rember if you delete/add during the show your ratings will change accordingly.

Please use acutal photos of you car; not photoshop enhanced images, ie. superimposed backrounds,fake drops or chops etc.

3) Catergories

This is a listing of the basic categories and what should be displayed within it. Please put pictures into their proper categories. If you don't have a qualifying picture for a particular catergory ie. your car has no lighting mods, then do not put a picture into that category. Pictures found or reported in wrong catergories will be removed by the administration.*

PT Cruiser - Your best exterior shot of your Cruiser.

PT Interiors - Present the best aspect of your interior.

Glow Show - An image displaying your best lighting, either interior or exterior shots are acceptable.

PT Cruiser Mods - Show us your best Mod.

Theme/Tailgate -  You can display a picture showing your overall theme,Tailgate display or a shot of your A/V System (ie. sub box, amp rack, video display) . Participants with Stock/Non-Themed PTs may use the Tailgate/Theme category to attain their third picture/category to quailify for "Best in Show" or Peoples Chioce" awards. You may use a rear shot of the PT with tailgate open or closed.

4) Events

Event information and details will be listed on the main Cyber Car Show page, please read it before entering the show. Participants may enter their photos at any point while the show is running. At the end of the show a screenshot will be taken displaying the final rankings, this will be added to the "Winners" section along with pictures of the 1st Place car for each catergory (Clicking a results image for the show will open the viewable images, clicking the top right or left areas of the photo will move you to the next/previous image in the list)..

5) Voting

You can not vote on your own images. Usernames and IP addresses  are tracked, if the IP address associated with your account is detected voting on your entries the account will get flagged and you will be disqualified. For clarification trying to vote from home as a guest whether it's you, a family member or your dog will flag your account and get you disqualified.

You can vote on all other images once per day.

Votes may also be solicited for a particular photo using the "Tell a friend" link; located under the comments section of each photo.

6) Ranking and Top 3 Listings

It will require a minimum of 10 votes to qualify for listing in the Top 3 of any category, Best In Show or Peoples Choice listing.

This eliminates the One Vote Wonder from winning.

Best In Show is calculated by the participants combined overall rating of all published pictures.

7) Best inShow and Peoples Choice Requirements

To be eligible for the "Best in Show" or "Peoples Choice" awards participants must meet a minimum picture/catergory requirement.

For "Best in Show" participants will need entries in at least 3 of the 5 categories.*

For "Peoples Choice" participants  will need entries in at least 2 of the 5 categories.*

Participants with Stock PTs may use the Tailgate/Theme category to attain their third picture/category to quailify. You may use a rear shot of the PT with tailgate open or closed.

These requirements have DO NOT restrict a participant from winnng in an individual category.

*This rule may be ammended for "Special Events" such as Glow Offs or Mod Parties. Rules for "Special Events" will be posted prior to those events.
