2009 PT Cruiser Gets WiFi
WiFi Access In the PT Cruiser Gives Whole New Meaning to PCs Crashing
Forget that whole Microsoft Sync thing, satellite radio, GPS, mobile phone convos, quick one-handed SMS chats, shaving (or eyeliner application) and Wiggles DVDs (for the kids, of course....). Chrysler's taking it to a whole 'notha level of distraction with its 2009 lineup. With a more than 19% dip in sales last year, the U.S. automaker is looking for something to get buyers' attention. So they're putting in a wireless router (on top of a 600-800 kb/sec cellular data stream).

American Heritage Cruise 2008
The Dream Cruisers PT Club kicked off their third fundraiser for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund on June 6 th & 7 th at The Outlet Shoppes in Gettysburg, PA. While the weather was HOT and steamy everyone rallied to the cause. Through selling cash raffle tickets, Chinese Raffle tickets, the 50/50 raffle and t-shirt sales we were able to raise $9,830.00. A check, as well as money raised through t-shirt sales, were presented to Shannon Sullivan who was there representing the Freedom Alliance. Since the event, more cash has come in and our grand total on money raised for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund is now at $10,000.00 We have not only met our goal but we have surpassed it. Everyone worked hard very hard to make this happen. A good job was done by all.

 Congratulations and Thanks to Team Members and all those who sponsored and supported us! Hopefully this year we can raise even more money to help find a cure for MS.This years team Page is now online:Cruisin Against MS Team Page This year we will be looking for additional team members as well as sponsors. Returning Team Members must sign up for the event, you are not automatically enrolled if you walked on the team last year. Your login/passwords from last year should still work though. This year you can join the team as a participant or volunteer so there is no need to worry about joining the team if you are unable to walk. Why We Walk... Many people really don't understand what MS is or how it affects someone. Jacki has decided to tell her story. I think it important for everyone to understand why we are walking and sponsoring. |
